The new tactical brain
Feature 01 / Tactics The tactic is only half the plan.
FM27 adds a new layer between the whiteboard and the pitch. Tactical Effectiveness measures whether your squad can actually execute what you have drawn — and it follows you into training, scouting and the transfer window.
Tactical Understanding — how well the shape and instructions have been learned.
Player Ability — whether the squad has the attributes to do the job.
Player Buy In — the human side of the plan, not just the tactical one.
