FM27 licences: the full confirmed list
Two new leagues, a long list of partner competitions and a few important gaps. Here is what is officially licensed in Football Manager 27, checked against Sports Interactive’s 28 October announcement.

What is new in the FM27 licence list?
The headline additions are the ROSHN Saudi League and the Arkema Première Ligue, France’s top women’s division. Both become fully licensed competitions in FM27, adding another layer of authenticity to a game that already carries a broad portfolio of league, cup and club partnerships.
The licence list is not the same thing as a complete football database. A licensed competition generally means authentic competition branding, format and presentation where rights allow. Individual clubs, kits and player likenesses may be covered by separate agreements, and Sports Interactive notes that some assets remain under approval at the time of launch.
The in-game licensed experience varies by platform and edition. FM27 Console and FM27 Mobile may not include every competition or asset available in the PC/Mac edition.
FM27 licensed leagues, clubs and competitions
The following list is based on Sports Interactive’s official FM27 licence announcement. We have grouped it by region for easier scanning. It covers competitions named in the announcement and is not a guarantee that every club or player in those competitions has a complete licensed asset set.

The official announcement does not list every league or region. If a competition is absent from this table, do not assume it is unlicensed — check the in-game competition screen for the final asset set.

What the FM27 licence list means for your save
Licensing affects authenticity, not the underlying simulation. A fully licensed league gives you the real competition name, branding and presentation, but it does not guarantee that every transfer budget, squad number or player attribute is identical to real life. FM27’s database is a scouting model, not a live feed.
For save selection, the practical differences are:
- Presentation: licensed competitions look and sound more authentic in the matchday and competition screens.
- Player assets: some clubs and players may have different likenesses or naming due to approval status.
- Editor and mods: PC players can use community fixes for names and badges, but those are not required to play.
- Platform: the PC/Mac edition is the most complete base for licensed presentation and community add-ons.
If authenticity drives your save choice, the Premier League, Bundesliga, Ligue 1, MLS, J1 and K League are all strong options. If you want something new, the Saudi league offers a different squad-building puzzle and the Arkema Première Ligue adds another route into the women’s game.

Which leagues are new in FM27?

Is the Premier League licensed in FM27?
Yes. The Premier League, EFL competitions, National League and Barclays Women’s Super League are included in the official FM27 licence list.
Is Serie A fully licensed in FM27?
The official list names a group of Serie A clubs — including Juventus, Roma, Fiorentina and Udinese — and Serie BKT, but does not list the Serie A league itself as a single licence partner.
Why do some FM27 clubs or players have different names?
Licensing and asset approval can vary by club, competition, platform and edition. Sports Interactive notes that some club and player assets may be absent while data remains under approval.
