The confirmed FM27 release date
Sports Interactive confirmed on 29 September 2026 that Football Manager 27 launches globally from 10 November 2026. The digital PC and Mac release, console versions and mobile edition are all scheduled for that date. The physical PlayStation 5 edition follows ten days later on 20 November.
The launch is not a staggered “PC first” rollout. Day-one access includes Steam, Epic Games, the Xbox PC app, PC Game Pass, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. FM27 Mobile is distributed through Netflix.
The Launch Preview is already live. It is free for everyone on PC and Mac until 3 November, then limited to pre-purchasers and Game Pass members until the full launch on 10 November.
FM27 Launch Preview dates
This year’s early-access period is called the Launch Preview rather than a beta. It opened on 29 October and is free to play on PC and Mac until 3 November 2026. After the free window closes, access continues for anyone who has pre-purchased the game or is playing through a qualifying Game Pass plan.
Saves created in the Launch Preview carry into the full game. The build is closer to release than previous FM betas, but it is still a preview: ratings, licence assets and some presentation details can change before 10 November. Treat it as a live test session, not a final review.

Platforms and Game Pass
FM27 is available across PC, Mac, console and mobile, but the features and licence presentation can vary by edition. The core management game is on PC and Mac; FM27 Console is a controller-first version for living-room play; FM27 Mobile is a streamlined edition for iOS and Android through Netflix.

FM27 price and editions
The standard digital edition has a recommended price of $59.99 / £49.99 / €59.99. At the time of writing, pre-purchases on supported storefronts carry a 10% launch discount, bringing the US price to $53.99. Regional pricing and sale windows can differ, so check the storefront before buying.

FM27 system requirements
FM27 is not a GPU-heavy action game, but the 3D match engine and larger databases still reward a capable CPU, enough memory and an SSD. The official Steam requirements list 20GB of storage for both Windows and macOS.

Before you start your first save
The most useful thing you can do before 10 November is decide what kind of manager you want to be. FM27’s Tactical Effectiveness system punishes a plan that looks good on paper but does not match the squad. Pick a club with a coherent squad, choose a simple base shape and give the team time to learn it.

What time does Football Manager 27 release?
Sports Interactive has confirmed 10 November 2026 as the global release date but has not published one universal unlock time. Storefront unlock times vary by platform and region. The countdown on this page uses midnight UTC and should be treated as a planning reference, not an official unlock time.
Is FM27 on Game Pass at launch?
Yes. The PC version is available with PC Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate from launch. FM27 Console is also included with Game Pass Console for Xbox Series X|S, while the mobile version is distributed through Netflix.
Is there an FM27 physical edition?
Yes. The physical PC edition launches on 10 November 2026. The physical PlayStation 5 edition follows on 20 November 2026. Digital console editions are available from 10 November where listed.
Does the Launch Preview save carry over?
Yes. Football Manager 27 Launch Preview saves carry into the full game, provided you continue on the same platform and account. You will need to own the full game or have access through Game Pass after the free preview period ends.
Is FM27 coming to Xbox One or Nintendo Switch?
No. FM27 Console is confirmed for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, with no Xbox One release. There is no announced Nintendo Switch version of FM27.
