What is Football Manager 27?
Football Manager 27 is the 2026 edition of Sports Interactive’s football management simulation, published by SEGA and released on 10 November. You take charge of a club, build a squad, design a tactical identity and live through the consequences of every call. It is a management game first: the match engine is the stage, not the whole performance.
The FM27 design brief is easy to summarise. Clearer interface. More control from the touchline. A deeper link between what you train and what your team can actually execute. The headline feature, Tactical Effectiveness, measures the gap between the plan on the tactics board and the plan your players can deliver.
